Someone recently asked me, "Why do you make fun of all these politicians?"
Indeed. Why?
Hell, why not? Have you ever watched the Three Stooges? Pretty funny, huh? Those guys go on stage and on the screen with the aim of being funny. These whacko politicians on the other hand take themselves so seriously, while at the same time carrying on like the Stooges, that you can't help but laugh - when you're not crying.
These jokers are ruining our Country. When you stop and think about it, it's amazing really that the United States of America has lasted as long as it has with these goofballs at the helm and steering the ship.
The politicians don't seem to have America's and Americans best interests at the forefront of their planning and legislation. Our Live's, Our Liberties and Our Pursuit of Happiness is secondary (or even lower) compared to their getting elected, getting re-elected and fund raising.
The average political contest now has become like a crooked horse race that is decided long before the voters go to the polls. The election is decided by "Which candidate can raise the most money".
That's what the Big Media concentrates on - "Who is ahead in the campaign contributions and Who has the most $$$ in their War Chest".
Hello? Do you really think your ten dollar or hundred dollar bill that you contribute will influence your selected politicians vote?
Wrong. It's the ten thousand and million dollar contributions from Big Business that will decide how they vote on a particular subject.
So, here we are - September 13, 2009 - a little over 233 years since the Declaration of Independence was put together by the Founders of Our Country, and things look pretty bad.
And what is the Political Three Stooges answer to the dilemma?
"Let's try as hard as we can to make the other side look bad so we can get elected."
Hey, it's not just one side of the aisle that does it; it's both sides. These Stooges can't see beyond the next election, which is as bad as a businessman not seeing beyond the next weeks profit and loss statement.(See: Banking Industry Ponzi Scheme and subsequent Tax-Payer Bailout)
Folks, my fellow Americans, the politicians can't and won't fix this for us. They will only continue to make things worse. That's their chosen duty.
We have to fix this ourselves. There's lots of things to fix and here is the Numero Uno that we should concentrate on: Please turn off the reality show for a few minutes and look at this -
