T.S. Eliot (1888-1965) once said:
"Humankind cannot stand much reality." I tend to disagree with Mr. Eliot. In my opinion, reality is funny as hell; fact is stranger than fiction; and besides, where would we be without the reality of it all? |

How much of Your hard-earned Taxpayer money has been spent on the politicians overseas adventures (WAR) in Iraq and Afghanistan? As of today, 2 Dec 09, ALMOST A TRILLION DOLLARS. Imagine for a moment that we had spent this sum of Taxpayer money on: USA Energy Independence |

| The children living in poverty level numbers above are from 2005, gathered after the re-election of President Jr. and his Dick of a VP. That was almost a half decade ago and since then the numbers have leaped astronomically. The news and statistics from all over the country, today, 13 Dec 09, are staggering. What's happening in America? Today it was reported that the Senate passed the $1.1 Trillion dollar spending bill - that is full of pork - so now we are even deeper in debt. Hey, I'm not a conspiracy nut, but it sure feels like something weird is going on. The count is now $3.5 Trillion dollars the politicians have blown like drunks at the casino. When will it stop? Oh, yeah. Have you seen any politicians taking pay cuts and unpaid furlough days or standing in the unemployment line? | |
Imagine the possibilities for the future of our Country and our children if we had invested these American Taxpayer dollars on: USA Energy Independence I don't mean to be, or to sound, cold blooded. I feel really sorry for the children, women and peaceful folks in those countries who only want to live lives of peace, harmony and opportunity. But, hey, there comes a time when you have to stand up for yourselves! Speaking percentages, there's only a few bad guys compared to the good guys so band together and gang up on those assholes! By God, if some jerk came in my house and tried to tell me how to live or dress or pray I'd take his gun away from him and shove it up his ass and pull the trigger. Hey, folks, you got to stand up for yourselves. You can't rely on US in the USA to solve all your problems for you. As Woody Guthrie says, "Your Land Is Your Land." We got enough problems over here. Let us work on our's and you work on your's. President Obama, I have to say that, frankly, I was very disappointed in your decision. It wasn't the 'Change' we were hoping for. I just hope you guys know what the heck you're doing - but, I doubt it. |

You know what I really really like about the Internet? It's the ability to communicate, in almost real time, or as close to that as is possible. That, is the ideal of the First Amendment Right to Free Speech. Imagine this: Here I am in Kentucky about 11:05 PM EST on Saturday the 28th of November, 2009 and by writing this, and then clicking a button, I can share my thoughts and dreams and fears and hopes with anyone else, around the world, almost instantaneously. And here are my thoughts, at this time. I'd like to take this opportunity to communicate with the personnel of the United States Armed Forces and the personnel of the various Law Enforcement agencies throughout the Land. You, the Men and Women in the Armed Forces: Do you remember the day you raised your hand and swore the oath and signed up? Do you remember the words you swore that oath to? ""...I swear to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America ..." And you, the Men and Women representing the various Law Enforcement agencies: Do you remember the day you raised your hand and swore the oath and signed up? Do you remember the words you swore that oath to? "...I swear to protect and serve ..." All of you, the Men and Women of the Armed Forces and of the Law Enforcement agencies, please remember those words; and remember that you did not swear an oath to defend the self-serving interestes of the politicians, who were elected By the People, For the People and of the People. No, your allegiance is not to the politicians who have consistently let the American People down. It is to the American People. Yes, as you can see, I'm not real fond of the politicians right now. I don't care what brand they are or who they are, they've all let us down. Look around; do you think the People in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave want the current mess or caused the current mess? No, this is not the People's fault - it is the Politicians fault. Please understand that this is not a call to rebellion - it is only a cry in the wilderness for sanity. Please get out your copy of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America and the Bill of Rights - and read it again. Sear those words into your mind. Brand them across your heart. Those words, Your Oath and Your allegiance to to those words, is what the American People are counting on You to enforce. Those words: Your words, and how You interpret those words and how You enforce those words, is how You will be remembered. That is how You will be remembered by this generation - Your childrens generation, and by their childrens generation, and on and on in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. It is how You will be remembered in - Your Country - the Country that You swore the oath to defend. I leave you now with these words from Woody Guthrie: This land is your land, this land is my land

On another page, I said that I was a big fan of the daily newspapers. Well, that was about a year or so ago. It used to be that you could rely on, to a certain degree, the newspapers giving you your daily dose of cheery data - Not no more. Now, the newspapers are only concentrating on daily survival. My hometown paper, The Courier-Journal, is a case in point. The C-J, several decades ago, used to win Pulitzer Prizes for it's coverage of international, national and local events. Now, they've been bought out by an international conglomerate, theye've skinnied their coverage down to a few stories off the AP Wire and the daily edition is mostly ads. It's pitiful. The worst thing, however, is their bent towards what is 'politically correct' and okay to report. The C-J, probably like your hometown paper, will not cover what is relevant and important to the American Citizen. They are, apparently, afraid to. They're afraid to tell you the truth. They only tell you what the politicians want them to tell you. They are afraid that if they tell you the truth, then they will be shut down. Why would they be shut down? Because the politicians don't want you to know the truth. Why don't the politicians want you to know the truth? Donations - Graft - Bribes - $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ - from Big Oil and Big Utilities. If you want to know the TRUTH then go here ... USA Energy Independence |
