Energy Independence for America

New Political Satire Addresses Serious Energy Problems

C R ESTWOOD, Ky. Lobo highlights possible future events and presents a real solution to America ’s energy crisis in his new political satire, Madder n Hell.org – Part Two (now available through AuthorHouse).
In the first book of the series, Madder n Hell.org, Vice President Peter Haney is hanged for treason after he tries to illegally take over the United States government. Edgar Stinnett, an intelligent, liberal philosophy professor, remains at the forefront of American politics as a refreshing and independent presidential candidate.
It is now the eve of the 2008 election, and competition is steep among the candidates. The leading candidate is Democrat Mallory Tracy , estranged wife of the retired politician, Donald Tracy . Mallory is unfortunately both crazy and demonic. She often holds séances, and during one of them Haney’s ghost shows up, with a hilarious outcome. Mallory wins the election and becomes president of the United States , with catastrophic results.
Meanwhile, Stinnett is on a campaign to use algae and to legalize industrial hemp oil for use as biofuels. He goes to British Columbia and buys 20 10,000-gallon tankers of the industrial hemp oil. He sets out with his convoy from Washington state to travel to Washington , D.C. Along the way, the convoy attracts more and more support, and many join Stinnett in his drive for energy independence. In D.C., Congressman R alph Dicken partners with him in a bid to get the movement recognized and bring this source of organic, renewable energy to America .
The convoy makes it to D.C. in time for the 2012 Independence Day celebration. Stinnett explains to Congress and the public how the hemp is grown on American Indian reservations. He notes that one acre of hemp is capable of producing 1,000 gallons of biofuel. Congress acknowledges its usefulness and votes to legalize the growing of industrial hemp. As a result, the United States ends its dependence on foreign oil and the economy rebounds.
What happens to President Mallory Tracy? She partners up with a diabolical character known as Dr. Nein on a South Atlantic island and suffers a most unusual fate. Find out that fate in the exciting conclusion of this timely novel.
“I hope to wake America up to a common sense solution to the catastrophe we are heading toward on the runaway train of our foreign energy dependence,” says Lobo.
